ReSource helped Garðabær municipality to develop its purchasing and waste policies. The main objectives were:
- The sorting of waste will be increased and the amount of waste will be reduced.
- Reduce plastic pollution in the operation of the municipality and its institutions.
- Develop a green purchasing policy.
- Coordinate classification of workplaces.
- Educate and mobilize staff.
