This project aimed to study the feasibility of using mixed waste polymers as an additive in paving materials in Iceland. As there is no existent comprehensive review of the literature on the use of waste polymers, it mostly focused on compiling the evidence on the technical case and then gives some attention to the potential economic, social and environmental costs and benefits of such usage.
