With the advent of the new EU regulations on Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), all EU countries had to make adaptations to the local legislative bodies for allowing commercial drone operators to continue their work within the Single European Sky airspace framework.
In this cross-continental harmonisation process, ReSource is complying with the EU directive 2019/947 in order to guarantee its services to customers within the EEA.
Recently we have registered ReSource Sverige AB as a certified drone operator in two EU countries: Sweden and Italy. With a drone license number obtained in a specific country, ReSource becomes automatically operational in that territory increasing our reach for projects.
Furthermore, three of our drone pilots have successfully acquired an EU drone card which facilitates planning and implementing flight missions abroad.
Being fully compliant is important to us to maintain a professional profile within environmental monitoring with the use of drone technology.
